Jackie Chan's movie 'Kung Fu Dream: The Way to Fusion' showcases the essence of martial arts
Recently, the movie "Karate Kid: Legends" released a set of character posters, revealing the roles of master Jackie Chan, Ralph Machio, and apprentice Wang Ban. A young man with a dream of kung fu, a hidden kung fu master, a transformative and passionate kung fu adventure.
The film continues Jackie Chan's signature martial arts style, showcasing the essence of martial arts in every move. The story tells of a family tragedy where kung fu prodigy Li Feng (played by Wang Ban) is forced to leave his home in Beijing and move to New York with his mother. When Li Feng first arrived here, he faced various troubles. In order to help his new friend get out of the predicament, he decided to step onto the competition arena.
Under the guidance of traditional Chinese martial arts master Han (played by Jackie Chan) and the first generation "Kung Fu Kid" Daniel (played by Ralph Machio), Li Feng attempts to integrate the two styles of martial arts. Through continuous training and honing, can he find his own way of martial arts and embrace this thrilling ultimate showdown?
In 2010, the movie "Kung Fu Hustle" starring Jackie Chan became popular both domestically and internationally, grossing a staggering $359 million at the global box office. The newly performed "Kung Fu Dream: The Way of Fusion" (temporary translation) continues the classic themes of martial arts and dream chasing, as well as the essential "Jackie Chan style" martial arts style. It also invites the first generation "Kung Fu Kid" Ralph Machio to return and join hands with the new generation "Kung Fu Kid" Wang Ban to ignite a new wave of Kung Fu craze.
At the same time, the film invited Jonathan Entwister to direct, Rob Lebel to write, and renowned Chinese American actresses Wen Mingna and Joshua Jackson to join, making the character design and plot development highly anticipated.
